The 1st National Conference on the theme "Pharmacists in Enhancing Health Literacy was successfully held on 29th August 2025 at Global College of Pharmacy, Kahnpur Khui. The event highlighted the crucial role pharmacists play in promoting health awareness and education among the community.
As part of the conference, students from the 5th semester actively participated by preparing informative and creative posters related to the pharmacy field. These posters were presented during the event and reflected the students understanding and innovation. They were guided
throughout the process by the dedicated faculty members of Global College of Pharmacy, who ensured the quality and relevance of each presentation.
On this occasion, Mr. J.S. Gill graced the event with his presence and delivered an inspiring speech to motivate the students. The college Principal, Dr. Sanjiv Duggal, played a vital role in guiding and supporting the students during poster making and preparation for presentations.
To ensure a fair and insightful evaluation, esteemed external examiners, Dr. Amit Sharma and Dr. Sandeep Kalsi, were invited from different universities. Their expert evaluation was highly appreciated and encouraged active student participation.
The management members, Mr. Vineet Malhotra and Mr. B.S. Rana, ensured that the discipline and cleanliness of the college campus were maintained throughout the event.
The entire event was meticulously organized by the conference coordinators, Prof. Shilpa Sharma and Prof. Tanvi, whose efforts ensured the smooth and successful execution of the program.
In conclusion, heartfelt thanks go to all the dedicated faculty members Prof. Priya Sharma, Prof. Kajal Choudhary, Prof. Jasmine, Prof. Samiksha, Prof. Aditi, Prof. Lovepreet, Prof. Anjali, and Prof. Akanksha for their continuous motivation and guidance to the students.
Their commitment greatly contributed to the success of the poster presentations and the overall event.
