Report on World Water Day Celebration

The World Water Day celebration was successfully organized at Global College of Pharmacy on 24th March 2026 with the objective of creating awareness about the importance of water conservation and sustainable use of water resources.
The program commenced with an address by the respected Principal, Dr. Sanjiv Duggal, and Chairman, Mr. J. S. Gill. They highlighted the significance of World Water Day and emphasized the urgent need to conserve water for future generations. Their inspiring words
encouraged students to adopt responsible practices in their daily lives.
Students actively participated in various activities organized on the occasion. These included
chart presentations, speech and skit. where students creatively expressed ideas and information related to water conservation, global water issues, and the importance of saving water. The presentations reflected students’ awareness and understanding of environmental concerns.
Mr. B. S. Rana and Mr. Vineet Malhotra also addressed the students and motivated them to contribute actively towards water conservation. Their encouraging words inspired students to
take small but meaningful steps in preserving this vital resource. The event was successfully organized under the guidance of Ms. Lovepreet Kaur and Ms. Samiksha Sharma. Their efforts ensured smooth coordination and active student participation throughout the program.
Other faculty members who contributed to the success of the event included Dr. Dupinder Kaur, Dr. Riya, Ms. Priya, Ms. Shilpa Sharma, Ms. Anjali, Ms. Kajal, Ms. Akanksha, Ms. Tanvi, Ms. Aditi, Ms. Sakshi, and Ms. Pavneet. Their involvement added value to the celebration and encouraged students to engage enthusiastically.
Overall, the World Water Day celebration was a meaningful and educational event that successfully spread awareness about water conservation and inspired students to act responsibly towards the environment.
