About IQAC ( Internal Quality Assurance Cell )

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is the cell that is formulated for monitoring the quality parameters in Global Group of Institutions. The Composition of IQAC members is as per the recommendations given by National Assessment Accreditation Committee.

About
Objective

The Primary aim of IQAC is

  • Develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution, through the implementation of best practices, the use of data-driven decision making, and the promotion of a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement, through internalization of a culture of quality, institutionalization of best practices, and the establishment of a system for regular review and improvement.

  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to address them, through regular self-evaluation and external evaluation, and the collection and analysis of data on institutional performance.

  • Encourage collaboration and communication among stakeholders to promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and shared responsibility for institutional improvement.

  • Establish a system for monitoring and reporting on progress towards performance improvement goals, through the use of performance indicators and other performance metrics.

Strategies

IQAC shall evolve mechanisms and procedures for

  • Ensure the timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative, and financial tasks.

  • Provide relevant and high-quality academic and research programs.

  • Ensure equitable access to and affordability of academic programs for all sections of society.

  • Optimize and integrate modern methods of teaching and learning, such as technology-assisted instruction, experiential learning, and blended learning approaches.

  • Maintain the credibility of the assessment and evaluation process through regular review and improvement.

  • Ensure the adequacy, maintenance, and proper allocation of support structure and services, such as library resources, laboratory equipment, and student support services.

  • Encourage the sharing of research findings and networking with other institutions in India and internationally, through collaborations, partnerships, and exchange programs.

Functions

Some of the functions expected of the IQAC are:

  • Ensure the timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative, and financial tasks.

  • Provide relevant and high-quality academic and research programs.

  • Ensure equitable access to and affordability of academic programs for all sections of society.

  • Act as a dynamic system for quality changes in the institution, through regular review and revision of policies and procedures.

  • Build an organized methodology of documentation and internal communication, to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
