Global College of Pharmacy celebrated Pharma Anveshan 2026 on the occasion of National
Pharmacy Education Day with immense enthusiasm and commitment. The event was organized to honour the rich legacy of pharmacy education in India and to spread awareness about the significant role of pharmaceutical sciences in strengthening healthcare systems.
On this meaningful occasion, students and faculty members visited Madhuvan Park to conduct a community outreach program aimed at educating the local public about pharmaceutical awareness and responsible healthcare practices.

Community Awareness Session
During the event, an engaging and interactive awareness session was organized for the public present in the park. The session covered important topics such as:
The importance of pharmaceutical sciences in modern healthcare
Safe and rational use of medicines
Drug safety and prevention of self-medication
The vital role of pharmacists in ensuring patient safety
The importance of regulatory compliance in drug usage
The celebration was aligned with the theme:
“Future Pharma Ecosystem: Fostering Synergy among Academia, Industry, Research, Regulatory and Practice.” Prof. Kajal Choudhary highlighted the need for strong collaboration among academic institutions, pharmaceutical industries, research bodies, regulatory authorities, and healthcare professionals to build an innovative, sustainable, and patient-centric pharmaceutical ecosystem.
Tree Plantation Drive
Adding an environmental dimension to the celebration, a tree plantation drive was also conducted at Madhuvan Park. Students and faculty members actively participated in planting
saplings, symbolizing growth, sustainability, and a healthier future. The initiative reflected the
institution’s commitment not only to healthcare awareness but also to environmental responsibility.
The event successfully blended academic celebration with social and environmental responsibility, reaffirming Global College of Pharmacy’s dedication to excellence in pharmacy
education and community service.
The program concluded with an oath-taking ceremony, where students pledged to uphold ethical pharmacy practices and contribute responsibly to society.
