REPORT ON INDEPENDENCE DAY

The Global College of Pharmacy celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 14th August 2025 in the college auditorium. The event commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the national anthem sung in unison by students, faculty, and staff.

The program featured speeches on various topics such as the significance of independence, the role of youth in nation-building, and the contribution of freedom fighters. Students also presented patriotic songs, poems, and skits that reflected the spirit of unity and sacrifice.

Principal Dr. Sanjeev Duggal addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of preserving the hard-earned freedom through honesty, discipline, and social responsibility. He encouraged students to be innovative, contribute to the country’s progress, and remain committed to the values of democracy. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to the organizers, participants, and audience for making the event memorable. Independence is not just the absence of foreign rule — it is the presence of justice, equality, and opportunity for all. As the youth of this nation, it is our responsibility to preserve these hard-earned values and contribute positively to our country’s growth. The celebration was graced by the presence of B.S. Rana and Vineet Malhotra from the management, along with esteemed faculty members Ms. Priya Sharma, Ms. Shilpa Sharma, Ms. Jasmine, Ms. Kajal, Ms. Aditi, Ms. Lovepreet, Ms. Anjali, Ms. Akanksha, and Ms. Anjana, whose support and guidance made the event more meaningful. The program was successfully coordinated by Ms. Samiksha Sharma and Ms. Tanvi, whose efforts ensured smooth execution of all activities.
