Global College of Pharmacy, Kahanpur Khuhi, Anandpur Sahib – 140117, Punjab, hosts its highly anticipated Student Orientation Day, mapping out an action-packed agenda to welcome the incoming batch of future pharmaceutical professionals.

The welcoming program kicks off bright and early with the official welcome of the freshers, immediately followed by a dedicated student registration window. Once administrative registration concludes, students receive their welcome kit, ensuring everyone is organized, assigned, and comfortably settled before the formal proceedings begin.

The event was organised under the esteemed guidance of Director/Chairman Mr. J. S. Gill and Principal Dr. Sanjiv Duggal, with the valuable support and encouragement of Management Members Mr. Vaneet and Mr. B. S. Rana. The programme was coordinated by Dr Riya Sharma, with the active support and presence of all faculty members.

The official morning ceremony opens with a warm welcome address, paving the way for an inspiring and highly anticipated speech by the Direct/ Chairman, Mr JS Gill, Principal, Dr. Sanjiv Duggal. In his address, he welcomed the new cohort by emphasizing dedication and innovation, stating, "Pharmacy is not just a profession; it is a vital pillar of global healthcare. As you step into this next chapter at Global College of Pharmacy, I encourage you to embrace curiosity, maintain academic integrity, and develop the research-driven mindset needed to shape the future of medicine. Academic, administrative, and structural clarity followed through a series of key introductory sessions:

 Academic Blueprint: Academic Head, Dr. Dupinder Kaur, provided insights into the institutional curriculum and long-term learning goals.

 Evaluation Guidelines: An introduction by the Examination Head, Ms. Priya, outlined academic expectations, evaluation systems, and testing rules.

 Faculty & Peer Connect: A comprehensive overview of subjects, an introduction by

the concerned faculty members, and a dedicated student icebreaker session to help new peers bond with one another.

Following a well-deserved lunch break, the afternoon transitions into high-energy, interactive

campus life activities to ease the transition into college:

 An immersive campus tour by Ms Shilpa and Ms Aditi to help new students navigate the state-of-the-art facilities.

 Engaging fun activities by Ms Anjali specifically designed to break the ice and build a strong sense of community.

 A lively Talent Hunt by Ms Akanksha showcasing the diverse skills, hidden talents, and creativity of the incoming batch.

The comprehensive orientation program concluded with a briefing about the next day’s schedule wrapping up officially with a closing ceremony to mark the successful start of a promising new academic year at Global College of Pharmacy.
