The Global College of Pharmacy organized a vibrant cultural afternoon on 23 July,2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, within the college campus. The event was based on the colorful theme “Colors of Punjab,” symbolizing joy, unity, energy, and tradition.
The vibrant theme was brought to life through decorations, attire, and art, all infused with the bright hues of Punjab — yellow for joy, red for passion, green for growth, orange for celebration, and blue for depth and unity.
The event was honoured by the gracious presence of Mr. J.S. Gill, Director, and Dr. Sanjiv Duggal, Principal, who addressed the gathering with powerful and inspiring speeches that deeply resonated with the audience."
He congratulated the organizers and participants for putting together a magnificent event and spoke passionately about the role of arts in personal and intellectual development.
The event included a range of creative competitions such as Creative Writing, Poster Making, Clay Modelling, Collage Making, Rangoli, and Mehndi. The program aimed to encourage student creativity and provide a platform for self-expression beyond academics.
In the Creative Writing competition, students expressed their thoughts through poems and short stories on various social and personal themes. The Poster Making event witnessed artistic students conveying strong messages using colour and design. In Clay Modelling, participants showcased their sculpting skills by crafting innovative and eye-catching clay models. The Collage Making competition allowed students to creatively combine text and images to express impactful ideas. The Rangoli competition added vibrant colour to the event, with beautiful traditional and modern designs on display. The Mehndi competition saw participants presenting intricate and elegant mehndi patterns, reflecting both tradition and style.

RangoliCompetition: 1st Position – Ikmanjot, Gaganpreet, Kirti, and Himanshi (3rd Semester)2nd Position – Navneet, Yashpreet, Ritika, Shikha, and Rajeshwari (3rd Semester)3rd Position – Komal, Amrit, Jaspreet, Gurpreet, and Kunika (3rd Semester), for their vibrant and traditional design.
MehndiCompetition: 1st Position – Anshika (5th Semester), for her elegant and intricate artwork.

The event was a great success, filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and active student participation. It provided a joyful and memorable experience for all involved.
