An Awareness and Pledge Programme under the 100 Crore Nasha Mukti Pratigya Abhiyan
2026 was organised at Global College of Pharmacy on 17 August 2026 in the college
auditorium, in collaboration with the Medical Wing of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris
Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya.
The programme was graced by the presence of Mr. J. S. Gill, Director, Global College of
Pharmacy; Dr. Sanjiv Duggal, Principal; and respected management members Mr. Vineet
Malhotra and Mr. B. S. Rana Sir. Their presence and support added significance to the
awareness initiative and encouraged students to actively participate in the programme.
Representatives from the Brahma Kumaris Centre, Brahma Kumari Poonam Ji and Reena
Ji, conducted an informative and inspiring awareness seminar. They sensitised the students
about the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse and highlighted its impact on physical
health, mental well-being, academic performance, family life and society.
During the session, the speakers encouraged students to develop positive thinking, self-
discipline and healthy habits and motivated them to make responsible choices. They also
emphasised the important role of youth in creating a drug-free and healthier society.
As an important part of the campaign, students and faculty members actively participated in
the Nasha Mukti Pratigya (Drug-Free Pledge). The pledge encouraged everyone to remain
committed to a substance-free lifestyle and to spread awareness about the harmful
consequences of drug abuse among their peers, families and communities.
The programme was coordinated by Ms. Kajal Choudhary, who ensured the smooth
conduct and effective coordination of the awareness and pledge activities.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Dupinder Kaur and Ms.
Priya Sharma. They expressed sincere gratitude to Brahma Kumari Poonam Ji, Reena Ji, the
Medical Wing of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, the college
management, faculty members and students for their valuable participation, guidance and
support.
The programme was highly informative and impactful, successfully promoting the message
of “Say No to Drugs and Yes to a Healthy Life.” It provided students with valuable awareness
and inspired them to contribute towards building a healthier, safer and drug-free society.
