Global Group of Institutions, Kahnpur Khui Anandpur sahib, organized one day workshop on ‘PREPARATION OF CAMPUS PLACEMENT DRIVES’ was conducted on dated 13.03.2023. The speaker for the workshop was Dr. Mithlesh Sharma (Principal, GCET). He told that during his speech approach play a vital role in having a good impact on the interviewer. He interacted with students and discuss the manner in which student can enter in a group discussion midway and gives ideas for group discussion. He also taught the importance on the non-verbal communication i.e. body language why which attitudes and feelings are communicated. Dr. Deepak Kumar (Principal, GCP), Mr. Mandeep Singh (Associate Prof.), other faculty members and students of B Pharmacy remain present. The intension behind conducting such workshop was to prepare students for upcoming placement drive. The topic allotted for group discussion was whether India is developed or developing country. The students were given two minutes time to think over the topic before beginning with the discussion. Group discussion lasted for 15-20 minutes. Dr. Mithlesh Sharma advised the students to read newspapers and enlist three local, national and global news which will help them to aware about their surroundings. Faculty members and students observed the discussion. Observations were discussed with the students. Vote of thanks was given by Prof. Mandeep Singh.
