An industrial visit was organized for the students of the 2nd and 4th semesters of Global College of Pharmacy to Magbro Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Ghanauli. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to pharmaceutical industry operations and enhance their understanding of manufacturing and quality systems.
The entire event was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Chairman Mr. J. S. Gill and Dr. Sanjiv Duggal, Principal of Global College of Pharmacy. The management members Mr. Vineet Malhotra and Mr. B. S. Rana also extended their valuable support and encouragement for the successful organization of the visit.
Departments Visited
During the visit, students explored the following departments:
Packaging Department: Students observed blister packing, labeling, and final
inspection processes involved in pharmaceutical product packaging.
Production Department: They gained insight into the manufacturing processes of
tablets, capsules, and other dosage forms.
Quality Assurance (QA): Department: Students learned about documentation, GMP
guidelines, and quality maintenance systems.
Quality Control (QC) Department: They witnessed testing and analysis procedures of
raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
The institution expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Sudhir Maingi (Managing Director), Dr.
Astha Maingi, and Mr. Sukhdev Kumar (HR Manager) for their valuable support, coordination,
and informative guidance throughout the visit. Their interaction provided students with deeper
insights into pharmaceutical industry practices. Special appreciation goes to our faculty members Dr. Dupinder Kaur and Mrs. Lovepreet, who coordinated the entire event efficiently and ensured the safety and discipline of the students during the visit. The company also warmly welcomed the students and faculty members with refreshments, serving tea and samosas, which added to the pleasant experience.The industrial visit was highly informative and beneficial. It helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, enhancing students’ understanding of real-time pharmaceutical operations and motivating them toward professional excellence in the field of pharmacy.
