Report on Teej Function

The Women Club of Global college of pharmacy, Kahanpur khuhi, Ananadpur sahib

organized a colourful and joyful Teej Function on the college campus to celebrate the

traditional festival of Teej and promote awareness of our rich cultural heritage.

The programme began with a warm welcome to the Principal Dr Sanjiv Duggal, Faculty, Non

Faculty members and students. The campus was beautifully decorated with traditional items,

flowers, and colourful swings. Students and teachers participated enthusiastically in various

cultural activities.

The main attractions of the function were folk songs, traditional dances, mehndi. Students

dressed in beautiful traditional attire, adding charm to the celebration. A number of competitions were also organized for students and faculty members. The participants displayed great enthusiasm and creativity.

The Women Club members Dr Dupinder Kaur and Ms. Lovepreet Kaur worked hard to make

the event successful. The function provided an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the festival

while learning about the customs and traditions associated with Teej. It also promoted friendship, teamwork, and respect for Indian culture.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by respected Principal Dr Sanjiv Duggal and Chairman JS Gill. And also thanks to Mr. B S Rana and Mr Vinit Malhotora. The Teej

celebration was a memorable and enjoyable event that brought the college community

together in a festive spirit.
