REPORT ON INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2026

Theme: “Honouring Freedom, Inspiring the Future”

The Global College of Pharmacy celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm, patriotic fervour, and a deep sense of pride on 14th August 2026 at the College Auditorium. The celebration was organized to commemorate the spirit of freedom and to inspire students to uphold the values of unity, integrity, responsibility, and nation-building.

The programme commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the National Anthem, which was sung in unison by the students, faculty, and staff. The ceremony created an atmosphere of patriotism and respect for the nation and its freedom fighters.

The programme featured a series of patriotic and thought-provoking activities. Students delivered speeches on topics including “Honouring Freedom, Inspiring the Future” Through their presentations, students highlighted the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and emphasized the responsibilities of the younger generation towards the nation.

The students also presented essay writing,speech competition and poster making competition which beautifully reflected the values of unity, sacrifice, courage, and patriotism. These performances not only entertained the audience but also conveyed meaningful messages about the importance of preserving the hard-earned freedom of the country.

Rana and Mr. Vineet Malhotra, along with faculty members, addressed the gathering with

inspiring words. They emphasized that freedom comes with responsibility and encouraged students to contribute positively to society through honesty, discipline, innovation, social responsibility, and dedication to the nation. The students were also motivated to develop innovative ideas and actively contribute to the progress and development of the country.

The programme was successfully coordinated by Ms. Samiksha Sharma and Ms. Aditi, whose dedicated efforts ensured the smooth and effective execution of all activities. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing sincere appreciation to the management, faculty members, rganizers, student participants, and audience for their valuable support and enthusiastic participation in making the celebration memorable and meaningful.
