Every year on 25th September World Pharmacist Day is celebrated across the world. It is a day dedicated to pharmacist for their significant role in improving global health. Celebrating World Pharmacists Day is already a valuable tool to promote the profession, but using this opportunity to achieve specific results will make this celebration even more relevant and useful for an organization and its members as well.
In Global College, Pharmacists Day was celebrated with tremendous joy by all staff as well as the students of the Institute. Honourable chairman of the Institute Mr. J.S Gill, graced the occasion with their esteemed presence. The program was started with a motivated speech by the principal of Global College of Pharmacy Dr.Sanjiv Duggal. In his speech, he motivated the students to know the value of their profession and the role of pharmacists in the health care system. He also provided some knowledgeable information to students about the profession of pharmacy and also presented key notes and discussed various activities organized by the institute. He explained the theme “Pharmacist:Your Medicine Experts”in which various events were organised i.e., Rangoli,Poster making, Collage making, Quiz, Debate competitions. The students of B. Pharmacy have participated in these events with great enthusiasm..
