The International Women’s Day was joyously celebrated at Global Group of Institutions on March 7th, 2024. Over the years, the purpose of Women's Day celebrations has evolved, now encompassing a celebration of culture and ethnicity, while also serving as a day to demonstrate respect and appreciation for women. Nowadays, Women's Day is not only commemorated in colleges but is also integrated into the curriculum as a compulsory subject to foster awareness of women's achievements and advance empowerment.
The event commenced with a brief but impactful speech by our Principal, Dr. Deepak Kumar, emphasizing the importance of empowering women. The cultural activity coordinators, Kajal Choudhary and Samiksha Sharma, demonstrated exceptional management skills throughout the program.
An array of competitions, including Mehendi, Poster making, Dance, Speech, and Rangoli, were held in the evening, with enthusiastic participation from many students. These competitions aimed to highlight women's rights and promote gender equality.
The event concluded with the announcement of winners across various categories, adding a sense of achievement and recognition to the proceedings.
In closing, heartfelt thanks were extended to all attendees for their presence and contribution to making the event a resounding success.
