The Fresher’s Party at the Global Group of Institutions sounds like it was an exhilarating experience, marking the start of a new academic journey for the incoming students! Events like these bring to mind the quote from Maya Angelou: “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” This Fresher's Day seems to have been an occasion that made everyone feel welcomed and included.
The program kicked off with a Saraswati Vidhana, a beautiful nod to the importance of knowledge and wisdom, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting, setting a tone of reverence and anticipation. The involvement of key figures like Director J.S. Gill, Principals Dr. Sanjiv Duggal, Dr. Mithlesh Sharma, and other dignitaries must have heightened the sense of occasion.
The variety of performances, from solo dances to bhangra and giddha, along with the ramp walk, not only showcased talent but also echoed a famous thought by Pablo Picasso: “The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.” These activities likely provided a refreshing break from the usual academic rigor.
The games, music, and DJ sound like the perfect ingredients for fun, engaging everyone to celebrate the start of their journey. And of course, no celebration is complete without good food! It’s wonderful to hear that the event concluded with satisfied students, both from the entertainment and the delicious meal.
Lastly, the crowning of Mr. and Ms. Fresher added a competitive yet joyful touch to the event. The entire celebration seems to have truly embraced the essence of a fresh start.
