Community Project Report

A community project was successfully organized by Global College of Pharmacy under the guidance of our respected Principal Dr. Sanjiv Duggal and Honorable Chairman Sh. J. S. Gill. The event was coordinated by Prof. Anjali (Community Project Coordinator) with the valuable support of Prof. Akanksha.

The project was conducted at Gursidak Foundation, Shivalik Colony Phase 1A, Nangal, which provides free education to poor and underprivileged students. Our college students created awareness among children about important issues such as plastic hazards, water management, deforestation, road signs, and prevention of diseases like dengue, malaria, and influenza.

Along with awareness, the students engaged the children through various activities including dance, quiz, poems, and fun games, which helped in both educating and entertaining them. The interactive sessions motivated the children and made learning more joyful. This project not only benefited the children of the Gursidak Foundation coaching institute but also inspired our college students to be socially responsible, empathetic, and proactive towards community service.

We sincerely thank Dr. Sanjiv Duggal and Sh. J. S. Gill for their encouragement, and extend our gratitude to Gursidak Foundation for their support. The project was completed successfully with the combined efforts of faculty and enthusiastic participation of students.
